1. Who may use ChitChat

You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter into this agreement. You may not use the site if you have previously been removed from it for breaking these terms or the community guidelines.

2. Guest sessions and accounts

You can use ChitChat as a guest. A guest session is stored in your browser, and clearing your browser data ends it along with anything attached to it.

If you sign in, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

3. How you agree to behave

The community guidelines are part of these terms. In short, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten or abuse other people, or use hateful language.
• Show nudity or explicit content, or involve minors in any way.
• Ask other users for money, gift cards, codes or account details, or run any scam.
• Pretend to be another person or to act on behalf of ChitChat.
• Capture, store or share another person's image, voice or messages without their consent.
• Advertise, spam, or send people to other services for commercial gain.
• Interfere with the site, try to access it by automated means, or get around its limits.

4. Your content

You keep the rights to what you upload or write. You give us permission to store, display and transmit it as needed to operate the service, for example to show your profile to other users and deliver your messages. You are responsible for having the right to share what you post.

5. Free matches, the Reward Center and coins

ChitChat is free to start. New users receive free matches, and the Reward Center offers further free matches from time to time. These have no cash value and the amounts may change.

Coins are a digital item used inside ChitChat for paid features, including calls that continue past their free time and matches once free matches are used up. Buying coins requires an account. The price of a coin pack is shown before you buy. Coins cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person. Purchases are final except where the law gives you a right to a refund.

6. Enforcement

If we believe you have broken these terms or the community guidelines, we may limit or end your access to some or all of the site. We may also remove content and, where the law requires, pass information to the authorities.

7. The service as it is

We work to keep ChitChat available and working, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. We may change, add or remove features.

You meet other users at your own discretion. We do not vouch for what other people say or do, and we are not a party to any arrangement between users. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions go to [email protected].
