ChitChat Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

Like most websites, ChitChat stores small pieces of information in your browser. Some are cookies; others sit in the browser's local storage. This page explains what they are for and how to control them.

1. What cookies and local storage are

A cookie is a small text file that a site asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage is a similar space inside the browser that the site can read while you are on it. We use the word "cookies" below for both.

2. What we use them for

  • Keeping you in. Your guest session or sign-in is remembered so that you do not start from nothing on every page. Without this the site cannot work.
  • Remembering choices. Things such as your language and whether you have already seen a prompt.
  • Keeping the site safe. Detecting abuse and unusual activity.
  • Measuring use. Counting visits and seeing which pages and features are used, so that we can fix problems and improve the site.

3. Cookies set by others

Some cookies are set by providers we work with, for example for analytics or for processing a payment when you buy coins. They are subject to those providers' own policies as well as ours.

4. How to control cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data from its settings. You can do this for all sites or for chitchatgg.live alone.

Be aware of one consequence. A guest session lives in this storage. If you clear it, the session ends, and anything held only in that guest session goes with it. If you have things you want to keep, sign in before clearing your browser.

Blocking all cookies will stop ChitChat from working properly, because it will not be able to remember your session from one page to the next.

5. Changes and contact

If our use of cookies changes, this page will be updated with a new date. Questions go to [email protected]. The privacy policy covers how personal data is handled more broadly.
